Mechanisms & Miniatures

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Become a young engineer with “Mechanisms & Miniatures”, a hands-on exploration of gears, levers and machines. Students will design and build mechanical systems while discovering how simple machines create movement and solve practical problems.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- How gears, levers and mechanisms transfer forces and create movement (Function).
- How mechanical designs can be tested, refined and improved (Change).
- How simple machines connect scientific principles with everyday technology (Connection).
